INTRODUCTION
TANSYMUSIC was formed in 2005 in response to an overwhelming demand for community music workshops in the South London area.
TANSYMUSIC offers workshops and lessons in African drumming and percussion, Life enhancing music, Guitar and Keyboards at competitive rates to schools, voluntary organisations, community groups, businesses etc
About Tansy
I am the parent of two children with special needs. I ran my own commercial recording studio for several years and I also travelled extensively and busked my way around Europe. I have trained as a counsellor and mediator and still work in these areas.
I have always believed in the therapeutic value of music and have used it in a variety of teaching situations and workshops. I am a teacher of piano, guitar and African music but can easily adapt and plan for any requirements.
Although I have worked as a freelance music teacher for the last 25 years I am in the process of setting up my own organisation which will enable me to take music into areas of social deprivation, schools which do not have the funding to give children the experience of creating their own music and other various community groups.
I have a team of extremely dedicated and experienced musicians working with me and we all share the same vision of helping people to grow through the medium of music.
I try to keep costs as low as possible and am always open to negotiation.
Music lessons are available in small groups for the guitar and keyboards to ensure good progress - KEYBOARD/PIANO ACOUSTIC GUITAR
Percussion workshops are available to promote health and wellbeing and also to enhance basic life skills - LIFE ENHANCING WORKSHOPS AFRICAN DRUMMING AND PERCUSSION
